With two-lifetime achievement awards, Laura has been a leader in the travel industry for 25 years, pushing boundaries for an ever-growing roster of clients, embracing new opportunities, and building LDPR into the powerhouse it is today. Laura is a founding Board Member of the Family Travel Association.

Laura has played an active role in the travel community through her other affiliations with the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association (HSMAI), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA), the Wellness Tourism Association (WTA), the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and the International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA). In 2008, she was honored with HSMAI’s highest recognition – the Lifetime Achievement Award, and received similar recognition from CTO in 2019. Leading by example, she focuses on fairness for all and generosity by all who can—in her own life and via LDPR. She is an Ambassador for Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy and sponsors teachers at a primary school in Benin, West Africa. As if that’s not enough, Laura somehow manages to travel the world with her husband and two sons -- #familytravel is a priority in her busy life.
