FTA Membership Application

Thank you for your interest in membership with the Family Travel Association. The FTA has four different categories of membership.

Travel Advisor members shall be business entities or independent agents/advisors involved in selling family travel. These business entities function as travel agencies, travel advisors, and/or their wholly owned travel agency or travel advisor subsidiaries.

Our goal is to better equip advisors to reach more families and inspire them to travel to more places more often, showing them that their dream adventures are possible. By providing a platform for networking and professional development, we strive to broaden the expertise and amplify the perspective of all our advisor members. How do we do that? We educate. We connect. We promote. We advocate.

Supplier, DMO's and Ranches shall be business entities involved in the development or support of family travel related products and services (excluding the media and travel agents).

This may include but is not limited to airlines, cruise lines, transportation companies, attractions, hotels, resorts, theaters, ticket brokers, insurance companies, public relation firms, technology companies, destination marketing organizations, tourism boards, tour operators and retail products.

By facilitating connections and strengthening relationships between the media and the travel industry, our goal is to increase coverage and raise awareness of issues surrounding family travel. In providing a platform for networking and professional development opportunities, the FTA strives to broaden the expertise and amplify the perspective of all our media members, while advancing advocacy on the issues most important to our industry.
