Hi, I’m Kristi!

Mom of two, world traveler, and commercial pilot spouse.

I am the face behind Fairytale Travel Guide: Navigating Solo Travel with Kids. Because of my husband’s profession, I often find myself traveling alone with our two young kids. Over time, I’ve picked up countless tips and strategies for navigating the world as a solo parent. I created this blog to share those lessons and to empower other parents—especially those traveling solo with kids—to feel confident and excited about exploring the world with their children.

Traveling is my passion—I’ve explored much of the Americas, Europe, and Africa, and even volunteered in remote mountain villages in Peru. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or an international trip with a stroller in tow, I’m all about making travel accessible, joyful, and completely doable—even on your own.

But above all, Disney has my heart. I’ve been visiting Disney World for over 20 years, worked as a Concierge Cast Member for three of them, completed several runDisney races, and I’m always keeping up with the ever-evolving world of both Disney World and Disneyland. From backstage magic to solo-parenting meltdowns in Magic Kingdom, I’ve done it all—so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
