My love for travel started at an early age. My first big trip was at just three years old when my family took me to Disneyland. While I don’t remember all the details, the photos tell the story—and one thing that definitely stuck with me was my love for Disney.

Growing up in California, Disneyland was a regular part of my childhood. My family visited often, and my brother and I would bring the magic home by reenacting the Disney parade in our living room. We lined up chairs to create floats, played the roles of characters, and insisted our mom wave to us as our audience!

As I grew older and had children of my own, my love for Disney and travel deepened. Experiencing Disneyland through my kids' eyes was truly magical—there’s nothing like seeing the wonder and excitement on their faces. No matter where you travel, those shared moments become priceless memories.

I’m Denise Lorentzen, Family Travel Specialist and Owner of Dreams Travel Consulting.

In 2006, I realized I wanted to turn my passion for travel into a career. Planning vacations for my own family brought me so much joy, and I knew I wanted to help others create the same unforgettable experiences. After extensive training, I spent eight years working with different travel agencies before taking the leap to start my own. In 2014, Dreams Travel Consulting was born.

What started as just me has grown into a team of over 30 incredible travel advisors, all dedicated to helping families create magical memories. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built!
